Israeli air strikes are relentlessly targeting the Gaza Strip for a sixth consecutive day, raising concerns about a potential humanitarian crisis in the besieged Palestinian enclave.
Israel has announced that it has deployed 6,000 bombs, weighing a total of 4,000 tonnes, on Gaza over the past six days, resulting in the deaths of over 1,400 individuals.
Gaza officials have reported that among the deceased are 447 children, 248 women, and 10 healthcare workers. Thursday alone witnessed the loss of more than 150 lives.
The continuous bombardment has led to the complete destruction of entire neighborhoods in Gaza, which is home to 2.3 million people, half of whom are children. Consequently, 338,000 Palestinians have been compelled to flee their homes and seek refuge.
In the occupied West Bank, the death toll has risen to 31, with over 600 individuals sustaining injuries, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
On the Israeli side, since the armed Palestinian group Hamas initiated an attack on southern Israel and took over 100 individuals hostage on Saturday, at least 1,300 people have been killed.
