McDonald’s announces strategic changes: Closing three CosMc’s locations and unveiling two new spots

McDonald’s has ⁣made‌ the decision ⁢to⁢ close down three outlets ⁤of its innovative beverage-centric offshoot⁤ brand, CosMc’s.

In an effort to experiment with this new idea, the renowned fast-food ⁤chain unveiled its inaugural CosMc’s establishment over⁤ a year ago in the outskirts of‌ Chicago in Bolingbrook. This was followed by six additional locations in Texas. McDonald’s has repurposed ⁤larger flagship restaurants into CosMc’s venues and also ‌constructed smaller prototype stores.

The company revealed that ‌the compact stores have shown more promise during testing. Consequently, McDonald’s will be shutting down three of its larger-scale CosMc’s branches while launching two more petite eateries in Texas. Although specific details regarding these closures‍ and openings were ⁣not disclosed ⁣by the‍ company,‍ information on CosMc’s website hints at an upcoming store in Allen, Texas.
