The updated version 2.0 of Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion have surprised fans, who finally feel that the game is now in the state it should have been at launch, thanks to the revamped combat system and RPG mechanics, as well as the addition of long-awaited features such as combat vehicles and an improved police system. However, there are still some remaining issues. CD Projekt RED will address some of them in the upcoming patch 2.01, which will be released soon.
Here is a list of the main changes you can expect in the patch:
– Distortions that occur when choosing a specific dialogue option when talking to Johnny at the end of the “Dollhouse” mission will no longer remain on the screen.
– During the “Ticket to the Major Leagues” mission, V will no longer fall through the elevator while going up to the 42nd floor and dying if the frame rate is low.
– Fixed an issue where controller buttons could be displayed in the user interface when playing with a keyboard and mouse.
– Added the ability to easily switch to manual implants when scrolling through weapons.
– “The Gig: Hot News” will now activate correctly when the player approaches the mission area.
– The volume level of the car radio will be adjusted so that it is not too quiet compared to other sounds in the game.
– Fixed the issue with corrupted saves on PlayStation and increased the maximum save file size. Note: this will not restore saves corrupted before the update. If you have encountered such a problem, make a separate save of your current playthrough (e.g., in manual mode) before the release of update 2.01.
– Performance will improve for both PC and consoles, especially in Pacifica.
Of course, this is not the complete list of changes. The full list will be available with the release of the patch.
