Tobin Bell reprises his role as John Kramer in the first true continuation of “Saw” in many years in the trailer for “Saw X” from Lionsgate.
The franchise tried to launch without him, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out. Now, after skipping the spin-off “Spiral,” Tobin Bell will once again punish the guilty as the iconic killer in “Saw X.” Lionsgate seems optimistic about the return of one of the most iconic horror villains. It turns out that “Saw X” is a prequel to the latest films, taking place between the events of “Saw” and ”Saw 2.”
The film definitely looks like a smooth return to what was a fairly large horror franchise for a long time. Shawnee Smith, a favorite of the film series, former victim-turned-apprentice of the Jigsaw Killer, will reprise her role as Amanda Young. The premiere will take place on September 29th.
