Rewritten: Every Pony Points Reward – Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

It won’t take long for Link to grow tired of traversing Hyrule on foot, and when he does, he’ll eventually cross paths with a mysterious currency called Pony Points in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Upon visiting a stable for the first time, players are automatically enrolled in the silly-sounding program, but not much is given in the way of an explanation. Luckily, there’s no membership fee to worry about, but it’s still important to understand what Pony Points are and how to get them in order to earn free rewards.

Stables function as essential hub areas in TOTK, and not only for registering horses. Each stable acts as an inn, wherein Link can spend the night for a small fee. The iconic trader Beedle is usually hanging around, eager to sell his wares, and there’s almost always a side quest to be discovered in the general area. Plus, anyone who wants to unlock the Froggy armor set in Tears of the Kingdom will have to get quite familiar with stables, as per the “Potential Princess Sightings” quest – but so will anyone who wants to earn all the Pony Points rewards.

In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pony Points are a type of in-game currency that’s solely used towards unlocking Pony Points rewards. Players can’t use them to buy anything at stables or with other vendors, but fortunately, they’re quite easy to earn. Link gets one point for visiting each stable for the first time, one point for every horse he registers, and one point for every night he spends at a stable (as long as he doesn’t use a free Sleepover Ticket from Addison). Some side quests also grant an extra Pony Point or two for completion.

Once a player has accrued three Pony Points, they’ll start earning rewards every few points or so, with the prizes ranging from horse equipment to stable upgrades. Every stable in Tears of the Kingdom shares the same collective program, so there’s no need to travel to a specific location to claim a reward. An easy way for players to check their progress to find the Pony Points Card under the Key Items menu. The item description will disclose how many Pony Points (if any) are needed to unlock the next tier.

Once a player has earned 40 Pony Points in Tears of the Kingdom, they’ll earn either five Sleepover Tickets or three Endura Carrots for every additional five Pony points they earn. But up until that tier, there are plenty of worthwhile prizes to earn. Between unique saddles and bridles, increases to horse slots, and even a 50% discount stable-wide, Pony Points rewards in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom encourage Link to live his best equestrian life.
