Before Salvaging any weapon in Diablo 4, players must look at the item’s power. The power needs to be 400 and above to receive the rare Baleful Fragment material. Farming multiple Baleful Fragments also costs a lot of gold, so make sure to budget wisely and grind EXP to be strong enough to take on multiple elite enemies that drop Legendary Weapons.
Regardless of the notion to game progress, it is recommended to unlock World Tier 3 in Diablo 4 to get 100% more experience and 15% more gold, ending in better chances of receiving Legendary Weapons for Baleful Fragments.
