A Genshin Impact player has discovered a unique mechanic with Pyro user Klee that many players may not know about. The game allows players to have up to four characters in their team composition, and combining their skills triggers various elemental reactions with different effects, from immobilizing enemies to boosting the party’s overall damage potential.
Each character’s kit in Genshin Impact can be divided into three main parts: Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst, and Basic Attacks, which include Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks. Despite some characters being over two years old, players continue to find new and undiscovered techniques with their abilities.
Klee’s Elemental Skill, Jumpy Dumpty, deploys an explosive device that bounces up to three times and deals AoE Pyro damage along its path. After the third bounce, the bomb splits into smaller mines, each dealing additional damage when they contact an enemy. Reddit user erickazu shared a short video demonstrating an interesting part of Klee’s Elemental Skill that many players may have missed. Players can use Jumpty Dumpty’s explosion to launch themselves in the air and perform a Plunging Attack, dealing Pyro damage in a small area. The post received almost 7k upvotes on Genshin Impact’s official subreddit.
While fans say this gives additional style points to Klee mains, it hardly affects the character’s position in the current meta. Klee was one of the first five-star characters released in 2020 and was considered an S-tier DPS at the time, on par with Pyro user Diluc and Electro claymore Razor. However, Klee has since been slowly pushed out of the meta by more complex characters.
