Baldur’s Gate 3 has a variety of rare weapons, including the option to craft your own, such as a Masterwork Weapon. The advantage of having a Masterwork Weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3 is that it adds +1 damage to the weapon and grants the Enchantment effect of silencing enemies. However, in order to complete the Masterwork Weapon, you will need to find an ingredient called Sussur Tree Bark.
To begin the Finish the Masterwork Weapon side quest, you need to go to the Blighted Village. In the house to the right of the village’s entrance, there is a disheveled stone fireplace. To the left of the fireplace, you will find a book called Highcliff’s Journal. It is located on the floor behind the barrel. Reading this book will initiate the Finish the Masterwork Weapon quest.
The book will mention that there are schematics for a Masterwork Weapon somewhere within the house. You should start searching for a trapdoor that leads to the basement of the house. Go into the basement and open the chest to find Highcliff’s Blueprints. After this, you may need to wait for a while before finding the necessary ingredients.
The main ingredient you need to make this weapon is Baldur’s Gate 3’s Sussur Tree Bark, which can only be found in the Underdark. There are multiple routes you can take to reach the Underdark.
