The new hero is but one of the many that are planned to be introduced with the action RPG’s third year of content, which will take adventurers to the Nation of Justice, the fifth major region in the game. Navia was long rumored and leaked ahead of her official confirmation. The confirmation also showed her definitive design for the game: she wears a long navy blue dress with yellow elements that match her blonde hair color, as well as a large hat with adornments on it. This matches Navia from the Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks, which means her conceptual design has not changed too much from when it was leaked to its final form. There has been speculation among leakers that Navia’s release date in Genshin Impact is set for some time during Version 4.5 – it is also unsure if her release will happen in the update’s Phase 1 or Phase 2. According to Positive-Suit-1800 on Reddit, leaker Uncle Chicken indicated that Navia is, indeed, planned for Version 4.5, which should arrive in February 2024, if the game follows its regular six-week schedule and does not suffer any delays in content. Another piece of leaked information about Navia that was officially confirmed by her reveal is that she has a Geo Vision. The Vision can be briefly seen in the Fontaine teaser trailer shared by HoYoverse on the official Genshin Impact channel on YouTube. Because she is rumored to be a 5-star character in the Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks, this could make Navia the first female 5-star Geo character in the game.
If her rank and release date are accurate, then she will also be the first 5-star Geo hero in over two years. The last character in the category was Arataki Itto, who was first added in December 2021.
