Rogues are mobile masters of stealth in Diablo IV and they are one of the most diverse classes that players can fully level up into their best build for the endgame. However, certain skills and abilities are more useful than others when facing tougher enemies once a Rogue reaches level 50. With the addition of Paragon Board paths, players may find it challenging to determine the strongest traits for their character.
The true endgame of Diablo 4 occurs after players complete the main story, reach at least level 50 to unlock Paragon Boards, or unlock a new World Tier. The World Tier represents the true endgame in many ways, with tougher enemies and superior items such as Unique gear that surpasses Legendary. Once players finish a Capstone Dungeon with a Rogue who is ideally level 50 or higher, they need a build for the endgame to compete with new dangers.
A unique feature of the Rogue is the presence of Specializations, which are a set of three possible passive buffs that players can choose from after reaching level 30. Any of these Specializations complement most builds, with the options being Combo Points, Inner Sight, and Preparation. However, as players approach the endgame, these abilities become more important to synergize with the chosen Aspects, gear, and Skill Point investments in Diablo 4.
If the player is seeking the highest damage output, they should consider using the Preparation or Inner Sight Specializations to effectively manage their Energy resource and Cooldown timers. Combo Points are more suitable for a build that aims to excel in various aspects and usually works best with Traps or Imbuement Skills for a strong PvP Rogue build in Diablo 4. For the purpose of this article’s endgame build, Inner Sight has the most beneficial effect for every Rogue path.
Frankly, there are few builds that aren’t powerful for the Rogue and can be used in the endgame, but a Rapid Fire Shadow build showcases the class’s strengths at higher levels. This build focuses on mobility to compensate for lower health compared to the Barbarian or Druid, and it excels in mid-range combat. With several passives that increase Critical Strike chances, this Rogue can inflict significant damage to enemies in Diablo 4.
