A recent report reveals that the United States has surpassed China as the leading country for millionaires and billionaires.
The number of Americans with liquid investible assets exceeding $1 million has now reached over 5.5 million, marking a 62% increase over the past decade, surpassing the global growth rate of 38%. This data is from the 2024 USA Wealth Report by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth.
Over the last five years, the millionaire population in the U.S. has grown by 35%, nearly double the rate of China. Currently, the U.S. is home to 37% of the world’s millionaires, up from 35% in 2018.
