A recent report reveals that the United States has surpassed China as the leading country for millionaires and billionaires.

The number of Americans with liquid investible assets ​exceeding $1 million has now reached over 5.5 million, marking a 62% increase over the past decade, surpassing the global growth rate of 38%. This‌ data​ is from the 2024 USA Wealth⁤ Report by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth.

Over the last five years, the millionaire population in the U.S. has ⁤grown by 35%, nearly double the rate‌ of China. Currently,⁣ the U.S. is home to⁣ 37% of the ​world’s millionaires,⁢ up from 35% ‌in ‌2018.
