The new day brings a new Wordle puzzle to solve. August 8th’s answer shouldn’t be too difficult for most players as it is a fairly common word and only a single trick up its sleeve. For most players, words like today’s can be an easy victory and a good start to the day.
For those that prefer a longer or more difficult challenge, Quordle is a popular Wordle-clone that has players solving four Wordle puzzles at the same time. Answers are shared between all four puzzles and players must use critical thinking to move through each puzzle without running out of guesses. Many of the Wordle-clones provide fun new ways of playing the original game, either multiple difficulties or even battle royale-type gameplay.
For those that just need a little help, we’ve provided some hints before fully spoiling today’s Wordle answer.
The August 8th Wordle answer is BULLY.
For our starting Wordle word we used IRATE which provided only incorrect letters. This can be good since we have an immediate combo followup for zero hints on the first and our second guess was POUND. POUND only gave us a single misplaced vowel, ‘U’.
