What Paradoxical Pokémon Matches Your Zodiac Sign?

All the Paradox Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have a zodiac sign that best corresponds with them. Depending on the version players bought, their game was either inhabited by ancient or futuristic creatures that bear resemblance to contemporary relatives. These Pokémon are unique in their appearance and temperament, and it’s easy to see similarities between them and each astrological sign.

The origin of Paradox Pokémon is fairly convoluted, proving to be a bit of paradox in and of itself. Canonically speaking, these creatures are said to be the result of the professors in Scarlet and Violet utilizing a time machine to bring them to the present day. However, the Area Zero Expedition that took place 200 years prior to when players begin the game is when Paradox Pokémon were first recorded, long before the time machine was invented. Regardless of where their true origins lie, there’s a corresponding Paradox Pokémon for every zodiac sign.

Taurus loves opulence and satisfying aesthetics, both of which Iron Valiant radiates in spades, as do its theorized relatives Mega Gardevoir and Mega Gallade. Despite a futuristic appearance, this Paradox Pokémon from Pokémon Violet still manages to appear fairly in-tune with nature in its color scheme, a trait fitting for a down-to-Earth Taurus. If challenged, the Iron Valiant can make quick work of a foe with its stylish pink blade, which is how it can sometimes feel arguing with a Taurus – those who fall under this zodiac sign can be unstoppable forces when they believe they’re right.

Theorized to possibly be a device sent by aliens to spy on the world, the Iron Moth is the perfect Gemini Paradox Pokémon. Much like this robotic observer, there is perhaps no sign more adept at learning other people’s business than a Gemini. They’re stereotypically a sign associated with loving secretive gossip, but not necessarily out of malice – they’re just an incredibly curious sign. If the spy theories are true, there’s arguably no Paradox Pokémon that’s more dedicated to learning about the world and people around them than the Iron Moth.

The Iron Bundle is famously known as the joke-turned-monster Paradox Pokémon, going from one of the silliest creatures – Delibird – to a powerful fighter. Cancers often face the typical stereotypes all water signs do of being soft and emotional, and just like the Delibird can often be underestimated. The Iron Bundle proved to be a fierce other side to Delibird, much like the multi-faceted Cancer, who are also known for traits like fierce loyalty and an overall endearing nature. Both ruled by water, Cancers and Iron Bundles each have lots of depth beneath the surface.
