An empire was built by an organized retail crime “queenpin” in a luxurious suburban area in the San Diego foothills, according to the police.
Michelle Mack, residing in a 4,500-square-foot Spanish-style mansion in Bonsall, California, had amassed a significant amount of stolen cosmetics from Ulta and Sephora stores nationwide, authorities revealed.
It is believed that Mack, 53, did not steal the items herself. Instead, she orchestrated a network of approximately a dozen women to steal the items on her behalf, which she then resold on Amazon.
