Details of the storyline and gameplay of the highly anticipated new Assassin’s Creed game set in Japan have been revealed by a tester.
Ubisoft has officially confirmed that the next installment of the Assassin’s Creed series will take place in feudal Japan, a setting that fans have been eagerly awaiting for years. The game, titled Assassin’s Creed: Codename RED, is set to be released next year, and the leaked information from the tester has provided an exciting glimpse into what players can expect.
The tester, who had early access to the game, shared insights into the storyline and gameplay elements. According to the leak, the game will feature a training mission set in the 1450s-1470s, significant time jumps portrayed through cut-scenes, and a compelling prologue that introduces the main heroine, Naoi/Naoe, and her motivations for pursuing the Order.
In addition to the storyline details, the tester also revealed information about the characters, including a male samurai named Yasuke and a female shinobi, Naoi/Naoe, who are part of the Iga ninja clan. The leak also provided insights into the improved parkour system, urban level designs, and the implementation of a dual main character system in the game.
