The FYQD Studio, the creator of the game Bright Memory Infinite, has shared a video demonstrating its latest technical demonstration on the Unreal Engine 5 called Secluded Orchid. This demo version will give you an idea of what FYQD Studio aims to achieve in its next game.
Creating Secluded Orchid took about 2 hours and 5000 8K photos, from which high-quality 3D models were created and then imported into Unreal Engine 5. The team then added simple motion controls and scenes, and continues to make adjustments to this day.
As explained by FYQD Studio.
We used motion capture for the first time in our projects. It took about 20 minutes to prepare the movements used in the demo version, so the quality is still not the best. At that time, we used a motion capture system with an inertial sensor, which allowed us to increase efficiency compared to manual keyframe animation. However, its accuracy is slightly lower than that of optical motion capture systems, so we are considering the possibility of working with them in the future.
Unfortunately, the team did not share this demonstration with the public. In other words, you cannot download it to test your system.
