The Dreamcatcher is a beautiful Melee Weapon available in Remnant 2. This gorgeous staff comes equipped with the Dreamwave mod, which can cast Slow on all enemies and provides Reverie stacks that boost damage and movement speed. This staff is also crucial to getting valuable materials that can transform gameplay.
One of the critical features of Remnant 2 is the variety of convoluted paths players must take to acquire special items. The Dreamcatcher is no different. Players need to venture into the Asylum in Losomn’s Morrow Parish and collect a set of quest items that can be traded in for the Dreamcatcher.
If players open the safe and return to the Head Doctor’s cell, she’ll be gone, but the Nightweaver Stone Doll will be in her place. The Nightweaver Stone Doll is the key to unlocking the Dreamcatcher in Remnant 2. If players trade the Nightweaver Stone Doll into the Nightweaver’s Web (found at the bottom of the Asylum), they will get the Dreamcatcher.
The Dreamcatcher is a great crowd-control weapon in Remnant 2, but its most interesting uses come from interacting with sleeping NPCs and special effects. To begin, attacking The Huntress when she’s sleeping in Brocwithe Quarter, Losomn gives the player a consumable called Briella’s Reverie. This item can send players to a special map where The Huntress is lurking. Defeating her in this special map gives players a Sacred Hunt Feather, which can be transformed into the Familiar weapon mod.
Another use of the Dreamcatcher in Remnant 2 involves attacking a massive NPC named Nimue in Remnant 2 in Losomn while she’s sleeping. She will drop her consumable, teleports players to an island surrounded by water. Somewhere along the coast is a beautiful turquoise stone called Anamy’s Echo.
