Titles in Diablo 4 consist of a prefix and suffix that players can select from the ones they have unlocked. Titles are unlocked by completing Challenges in Diablo 4 and are always awarded in a pair. These titles can then be equipped and appear under a player’s name for everyone to see.
Players can create many title combinations in Diablo 4, each consisting of an adjective prefix and a noun suffix. These titles allow players a sense of additional creativity for their characters, and while several are relatively easy to unlock, others will require a lot of work.
While these Titles are available for any use once unlocked, they can only be unlocked by using a character of their associated class and completing a specific challenge. The five available classes in Diablo 4 are Sorcerer, Druid, Barbarian, Necromancer, and Rogue. Each of these will have around ten Titles for players to unlock, and since Diablo 4 allows multiple character creations per account, players can work their way through unlocking all of them, should they choose to do so.
After unlocking a couple of titles, players will likely want to start playing with the available options. In order to change the title of a character, first open up the Character Menu screen. Then proceed to select the Profile option underneath the character’s name. Select the edit option, and then players of Diablo 4 will be able to look through and see all available Prefix and Suffix Title options available. Feel free to customize and play with the different combinations to create something that truly helps the character stand out among the crowd of other players.
