Exciting news for RPG fans! The highly anticipated game “Smuta” is set to be released slightly later than expected. However, to make up for the delay, players will have access to a “free” version of the game.
Cyberia Nova, the Moscow-based studio behind “Smuta,” has announced that the atmospheric role-playing action game set in the “Time of Troubles” era will now be released in April 2024. The developers have cited the need for additional time to perfect the game, ensuring a top-quality experience for players.
Furthermore, the team has revealed that they are working on a special “free” version of the game, which will serve as an educational tool for players. This version will allow players to explore virtual tour locations in Moscow from the game’s era and experience some of the game mechanics from the full version of “Smuta.” The release of this version is expected in March.
Additionally, a new developer diary detailing the combat system will be released on February 16, offering fans an in-depth look at the game’s mechanics.
