Today, the developers of Lies of P made a significant error by releasing an update for the game that included an unprotected 133 MB EXE file. This unexpected move contradicts the game’s Steam page, which still claims that the game is protected by Denuvo. The unprotected EXE, named LOP-Win64-Test, was likely meant for internal game testing but was mistakenly left in the build before the update went live.
Update: In response to the leaked unprotected version of the game, the developers have decided to remove the protection from the main 118 MB EXE file in another update, acknowledging the futility of keeping Denuvo.
Lies Of P presents a dark twist on the story of Pinocchio, set in the once beautiful city of Krat, now transformed into a nightmarish landscape. Players must guide Pinocchio in his quest to find Mister Geppetto and uncover the mystery. The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
