Israel’s armed forces have provided an update on their operations in Gaza.
The IDF stated:
During the last 24 hours, IDF forces continued their activities in the central Gaza Strip, where IDF tanks eliminated several terrorists who were approaching them.
Additionally, IDF forces coordinated with IAF aircraft to target terrorist infrastructure.
It is evident that they pose a significant threat. We have consistently imposed sanctions on both individual leaders and the IRGC as a whole, severely limiting their movements. We acknowledge the challenges they present.
[However], Foreign Secretary David Cameron has highlighted the importance of maintaining direct diplomatic channels with Tehran. Despite the complexities in our relationship, having face-to-face diplomatic discussions can lead to positive outcomes.
