Top 10 Riddikulus Spells That Must Appear in Hogwarts Legacy 2

Hogwarts Legacy gives players the chance to become a ‌witch or wizard and utilize powerful magic from the world of Harry Potter, but there are many more ⁢spells that ⁤were left out of the game⁢ that would ⁤provide a lot ‍of humor and enjoyment in the sequel.‌ Much⁣ like the beloved Riddikulus charm that can protect⁢ against Boggarts by transforming the Boggart into a funny⁤ form, there⁢ are many spells in the wizarding⁢ world that would make Hogwarts ‍Legacy 2‍ have⁢ a lot of enjoyable humor to counter the darkness that surrounds the experience. After all, if a character is ⁤going to be able to cast magic, they should be able to‌ access the more creative jinxs and spells as well as the ⁣serious‍ ones.

The idea⁢ of a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy makes ‍sense both from the popularity‌ that the⁤ game continues to enjoy and the simple fact that school year cycles provide another opportunity for the player’s character to start⁢ fresh for a new adventure, much like the Harry Potter novels. As yet, Hogwarts Legacy 2 has not been officially confirmed⁣ by Avalanche Software despite numerous leaks and rumors suggesting a sequel is already in the works. If and when the sequel arrives, these⁣ are just a few of the established spells from ‌that universe that need to be included in the next wizarding game.

Giving ⁢new meaning to the‌ term “tongue-tied,” ⁢Langlock is a jinx used ⁢to glue a victim’s tongue ⁢to the roof ⁣of their mouth. Canonically, it would not make sense for this spell to exist ‌during the time period of Hogwarts Legacy as it was actually invented by ⁤Severus Snape⁤ in the 1970s, yet there could be ⁤some adaptation of it that may ‌have existed prior which⁢ Snape ⁤simply used as a foundation for Langlock. Alas,‌ though it would be entertaining to cast, it would likely not have existed in the 1890s without some form of time travel.

Much like the spell Tasha’s Hideous Laughter from the world of D&D, Rictumsempra is a charm that makes its victim unable‍ to stop laughing. Known ‍as the Tickling Charm,‌ it can be very useful to disable an opponent temporarily and is a cheerful way of defending oneself. There is a similar spell, the Tickling Hex, which also exists but is a dark magic spell that makes ghostly purple hands ⁣appear and ‍begin to⁣ tickle the target in a much more offensive manner.

Unlike⁢ Langlok which was created after the events of Hogwarts Legacy ⁢took ‌place, Tarantallegra has ⁢a history ‍that goes back to 79 AD. This charm is⁤ known as the Dancing Feet Spell as it makes the target’s legs⁢ begin to have uncontrollable⁤ spasms that can look similar to dancing. The charm is even more entertaining in⁣ that it can work on inanimate objects as well as ⁣living opponents,⁣ as long as there are legs.⁣ Being able to make any chair or item with ‍legs ⁣begin to dance in Hogwarts Legacy 2 would likely add a lot of work for developers, but it would also be very fun.
