Exciting news for Tesla enthusiasts in the US as the company announces significant price reductions for the Model Y, Model X, and Model S. Tesla’s North America division revealed the price cuts on Friday night, along with the decision to discontinue the referral program benefits globally. The current referral program benefits are set to expire after April 30, according to Tesla.
Now, the base model of the Model Y is available starting at $42,990 for the rear-wheel drive version, $47,990 for the Long Range model, and $51,490 for the Performance model. The base Model S is now priced at $72,990, while the Model S Plaid starts at $87,990. As for the Model X, it starts at $77,990 for the base model and $92,990 for the Plaid version. These price adjustments come amidst recent challenges faced by the company, including a Cybertruck recall, layoffs, and a decrease in deliveries for the first quarter.
