Streamer guarantees legality of 4-hour Dragon’s Dogma 2 gameplay upload

“There is nothing illegal,” assures the streamer who uploaded ⁣4 hours of Dragon’s Dogma 2 gameplay to the network.

It’s not uncommon for games to appear on physical ‌media before their official release, with some being sold by⁤ retailers ahead of⁤ time or⁣ even ‌stolen, as was the case with Starfield last year.

Last week, ‌a streamer showcased 4⁤ hours of Dragon’s Dogma 2 gameplay ‍on Twitch, offering an intriguing look at the game and its performance on PlayStation 5. Despite‌ Capcom’s efforts to remove ‌the video, the streamer defended their actions,⁤ claiming they legally purchased the game⁤ and⁢ played through a VPN‍ to avoid‍ detection.

“I legally bought a copy of the⁤ game, ‍and I have a receipt for⁤ it,” the streamer stated. “There is nothing illegal in how I play.”

The streamer obtained an early copy of Dragon’s Dogma 2 from a friend who works at Walmart, and other copies have also surfaced online,⁢ so beware of spoilers.

Dragon’s⁢ Dogma 2‌ is set to ⁣be released on March 22, ⁤2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox ‍Series S|X.
