“Still Playing in 2022: 12 Amazing Video Games You Can’t Miss”

The overwhelming number of amazing video games that have been coming out lately makes it hard to remember all the great ones that were released in 2022, but many from last year, including Horizon Forbidden West and Xenoblade Chronicles 3, could still have much more content for players to see. It’s easy to get carried away with the novelty of new games, but once a few months have passed, sometimes great games could even be on sale. The content and quality of the games are still there, but simply because they aren’t the new thing on the market anymore, they can tend to get forgotten about.

Particularly when looking at the top-rated games from 2022, there are many that if someone missed out on when it was new, they should take a look at now. Many games from indie developers also could have easily become overlooked, and now the summer months are a great time to pick them up on summer sales or before getting to go on a vacation. Additionally, a few of the best games from last year are now releasing DLC and expansions that could draw players back.

Strange Horticulture is an indie-developed game about puzzle-solving and alchemy. Despite the game not receiving a lot of publicity and hype, it received very high reviews from fans and critics alike. Players take on the role of a plant store shopkeeper where they can find and identify new plants, pet cats, and even join a cult, all while unraveling a dark mystery.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a Star Wars adventure that takes players through all nine of the classic movies to follow the story of the Skywalker family. Those who have recently completed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor but want more time in that galaxy far, far away could try picking up this title. Naturally, as a LEGO game, it will be a bit less realistic than Survivor, but still entertaining.

Cozy gamers will not want to miss out too long on the adorable simulation management game Bear & Breakfast. Taking on the role of Hank the Bear, players try to encourage humans to return to the valley by setting up several inns for tourists to stay at. A lot of crafting, decorating, and resource gathering takes place while players get to enjoy the cheerful graphics and silly narrative that leads the game forward.
