The latest game from Gunfire Games has achieved record success. Remnant 2 is steadily climbing the Steam charts and has gathered over 100,000 players simultaneously. As tracked by the Steam tracking website SteamDB, the number of players sharply increased over the weekend, and about two hours ago, the peak online reached 109,053 people.
A few days ago, the game managed to attract over 83,000 concurrent players. Since then, the number of players has continued to slowly rise in the Steam charts, even after several days since its release. Now, this number has reached over 100,000.
It’s worth noting that the peak online for the first part, Remnant: From the Ashes, is 48,289 players, meaning the sequel surpassed the original by more than twice as much in this indicator.
Remnant 2 has sold like hotcakes and made it onto the bestsellers list of Steam and Epic Games before its release.
Remnant 2 was released on July 25th for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.
