NASA is currently working on a solution to reconnect with its Ingenuity Mars helicopter after losing contact with it earlier this week. The craft stopped communicating with the Perseverance rover during its 72nd flight, which was intended to be a quick ascent to an altitude of about 40 feet. Despite completing the ascent as planned, Ingenuity went silent on Thursday and has not been heard from since. Perseverance acts as the intermediary for all communications to and from the helicopter, relaying information to and from Earth. NASA is now analyzing data to reestablish communication with Ingenuity, which has experienced similar issues in the past.
