Reddit, the popular news aggregator and community platform for gamers, has been facing a tough couple of weeks. Recent changes to the site’s functionality and a widespread blackout organized in protest have caused some turmoil. However, CEO Steve Huffman assures that this is just a passing phase and that Reddit will not be negatively affected.

According to an internal memo obtained by The Verge, Huffman expects many of the subreddits that participated in the blackout to resume normal activity by June 14. He also reassures that Reddit’s profits remain unaffected by the recent events.
