The Fan is a basic yet highly versatile Zonai device in TOTK. The gust of wind it exudes can provide momentum to just about anything, whether it be a ground-level vehicle, a flying aircraft, or even just Link himself. The possibilities are endless with the Fan, and it’s a Zonai device that most players will find themselves making plenty of use of during their adventures.
The Shock Emitter is the weakest of the offensive contraptions at Link’s disposal, but it’s still one of the best Zonai devices in Tears of the Kingdom. As showcased by Arekkz Gaming on YouTube, the Shock Emitter is exactly what it sounds like – a device that electrocutes nearby enemies. It’s highly effective, but only in extremely close range, which makes it more situational than its other weaponized device counterparts.
The Time Bomb is a simple yet effective device that players will always benefit from having on hand. Since it’s a bomb with a short fuse and a large blast, it’s usually counterproductive when used in Ultrahand builds. However, it can also be fused to weapons or shields (the latter of which is surprisingly helpful, giving Link a significant vertical boost while shield surfing in Tears of the Kingdom).
