During their visit to Nimbus Land, Mario and his companions confront the cunning royal aide Valentina in a potentially challenging battle if they are unprepared. On her first turn, Valentina summons Dodo, whom the party has already fought twice before. Dodo kidnaps the party member in the second position, forcing them into a one-on-one battle. This can be problematic if it is a character with lower HP, such as Peach or Mallow. To prepare for this fight, players can switch Geno or Bowser into the second position before initiating the battle.
