PvP: Top Rogue Build for Diablo 4

The Rogue class in Diablo IV allows players to create a character with high DPS and mobility, making them agile even in the most dangerous PvP battlefields. The build is best suited for taking down human-controlled opponents, but since the skills are designed for larger enemy hordes, it can be challenging to figure out which abilities work best. However, the diverse range of Skills, Aspects, and Gear available to players makes this kind of build exciting to explore.

There are only two areas in Sanctuary where players can fight each other after receiving a “Bloodmark“, called the Fields of Hatred. Defeating another player here grants a certain amount of Shards of Hatred, which can be used at an Altar of Extraction to transform them into Red Dust currency. Red Dust gives players a better chance to buy better gear, costumes, or even mounts in Diablo 4, but other enemies can loot this resource in PvP if players are killed.

The most crucial aspect of a PvP Rogue build is to have abilities that inflict debuffs onto opponents, while increasing movement and attack speed through the right gear. The Rogue excels at dipping in and out of combat, dealing high amounts of damage at close and long-range in Diablo 4.

Players should try to stay out of mid-range battles, which can be tough against other classes such as the Druid and Barbarian, who are more comfortable fighting at that distance. Thankfully, a Rogue build in Diablo 4 always has options to spend Skill Points on Agility techniques that make them mobile. Rogues can be confusing to manage at times, so players need to remember the Evade option all classes have in case they get into a rough spot and can’t dodge around using their Skills.

Rogues in Diablo 4 that use Imbuement Skills for PvP have far stronger choices when fighting opponents of other classes, since the damage dealt this way is not always resisted. While many players have different armors that have plenty of Damage Reduction at Legendary levels, triggering an Imbuement allows for guaranteed damage over time. Slowly draining an enemy’s health gives the Rogue an advantage in a prolonged fight, which they can manage well with invested Agility Skills.
