PvP Necromancer Build for Diablo 4

PvP Necromancer Build for Diablo 4

Necromancers are best known for summoning the undead to their side in Diablo IV, but players looking to use this class for PvP might want to use a build that makes sacrifices and goes against this tradition. Players may not realize just how deep the Skill Tree for the Necromancer goes when they choose not to use their potential allies. Capable of becoming as tanky as the Barbarian and deal as much damage as the Sorcerer, the Necromancer has a lot of hidden potential.

Two areas in Diablo 4, the south section of Kehjistan and the western region of the Dry Steppes, host environments called the Fields of Hatred, where players can fight each other in PvP. Defeating an opponent in this free-for-all space gives players Seeds of Hatred, which can be turned into the currency Red Dust. This may only be done at Altars of Extraction within the Fields, so players need to be careful of other players trying to kill them for this resource while it changes.

Many enemy builds in PvP will gain additional buffs for attacking or damaging multiple enemies, so summoning Minions could end up helping a player’s opponents. By choosing the Sacrifice option, players reduce the weakness of the Necromancer and focus on other magic Skills related to Blood or Bone abilities. While this can be confusing, it does create more experimentation for the class by opening up more Ability Slots on the Action Bar.

A PvP build for the Necromancer should focus on Bone Skills since they translate to some of the highest damage the class can produce compared to Blood or Shadow abilities. This damage type bursts onto enemies while giving the class certain buffs that allow players to survive without companions. While it still afflicts other players with conditions like Vulnerable in Diablo 4 to promote even more damage, there is less focus on debilitating and more attention on raw DPS.

This build is designed to take out enemy players before they even understand what’s going on, with high boosts to Critical Hit chances made even stronger with Vulnerable. A highlight Skill from this strategy is Memento Mori, which increases the Sacrifice bonuses by 60% from the Book of the Dead as long as players choose to have neither Skeletal Warriors nor Mages in Diablo 4.
