The video game development studio CD PROJEKT RED, known for the series The Witcher and the bestseller Cyberpunk 2077, has announced a collaboration with the international media company Anonymous Content (“The Revenant” with DiCaprio, ”True Detective”) to develop a project (film or series) with live actors, set in the world of the game Cyberpunk 2077.
As part of this collaboration, CD PROJEKT RED is working directly with Garrett Kemble, the head of the television department at Anonymous Content, as well as with Ryan Schwartz, the development director, and David Levin, the chief creative director. David Levin is a veteran of the industry who, for over 10 years, was EVP and one of the leaders of the drama department at HBO.
The new project is in its early development stage, and they are currently searching for a screenwriter who will tell a completely new story set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Garrett Kemble, David Levin, Ryan Schwartz, and Bard Dorros will produce the project on behalf of Anonymous Content, along with Charlie Scully. The AC Studios, owned by Anonymous Content, will serve as the project studio. The project will be developed in close collaboration with the creative team of Cyberpunk 2077.
