Only one week remains until the release of the long-awaited game Baldur’s Gate 3. According to the image published in the gaming community, you will be able to start your new adventure in Forgotten Realms on August 3 at exactly 18:00 MSK. This, of course, refers to the PC version, which is available on Steam and GOG. The game for PS5 will only be released on September 6.
Let’s not forget that initially Baldur’s Gate 3 was supposed to debut on PC on August 31 – Larian Studios is clearly looking forward to players finally trying out the final version of Baldur’s Gate.
Unfortunately, there is currently no information about the possibility of pre-downloading the full version of the game. Those who want to get the full version must have at least 150 GB of free disk space. This applies to those who have previously downloaded the game in early access. Larian Studios has repeatedly stated that many things have been changed and added in the final release, so reinstalling is necessary.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a massive open-world role-playing game from the creators of the Divinity: Original Sin series. Larian announced the postponement of the PC release date to one month ahead, from August 31st to August 3rd, in order to avoid a clash with the release of Starfield by Bethesda in early September. The PS5 version, meanwhile, is slightly delayed until September 6, and the Xbox Series X and S versions remain without a release date (more information about the delay of Baldur’s Gate 3 on Xbox can be found here).
In an interview, Vincke said that according to the developers’ estimation, a standard playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3 takes between 75 and 100 hours. However, players who want to “do everything” should expect this number to double.
