Starfield, the new Xbox exclusive, is dominating the sales rankings on Steam, the most popular gaming platform for PC. Available data shows that Starfield has claimed the top spot in the best-selling games table and is currently in second place in the global table, only behind the free game Counter-Strike Global Offensive. Other highly anticipated new releases expected to come out in the second half of 2023 have also made it into the top ten. Cyberpunk 2077’s large add-on, Phantom Liberty, is in sixth place, Cities: Skylines II is in ninth place, and Payday 3 closes out the top ten.
Starfield is set to be released on September 9th for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
