In Diablo IV, one of the aspects many players are eager to reach is the ability to obtain a mount, and equally important, customizations for that mount. One in particular worth grabbing is the Reins of Ashava Horse Armor. However, obtaining it requires battling the boss of the same name.
Ashava, the Pestilent, specifically, is the one that will need to be conquered in order to obtain this horse armor. World Bosses in Diablo 4 are different from the traditional dungeon bosses as they spawn in designated intervals and only become available after progressing through the campaign.
Not only that, but Ashava will only hang around for fifteen minutes once they do spawn, meaning that players have a very narrow window to engage and defeat Ashava in Diablo 4. However, one helpful factor that can make this process easier is that as long players are in Fractured Peaks, they will get a notification 30 minutes before Ashava spawns, so they have ample time to make their way over and be prepared.
In order to obtain the Reins of Ashava Horse Armor, players will need to successfully beat Ashava as many times as it takes for them to drop the Armor. The best way to prepare for any of the World Bosses is not too dissimilar from what is recommended for traditional bosses in Diablo 4.
Reevaluate the skill tree and ensure that all skill points have been spent and are being utilized in the best way possible. Take a minute to look over everything and refund and points that can be better served somewhere else. Players should also ensure they are at least level 25 in order to take on this boss.
