Today, NVIDIA released a‍ new‍ Game⁤ Ready driver (version 536.67)‌ for⁤ its GeForce graphics⁣ cards. Furthermore, ⁢it ⁣provides ⁢the ‌best performance ‌when⁣ using RTX ‍IO ‌and ⁢Microsoft DirectStorage in ⁤Portal: Prelude RTX and Ratchet &‍ Clank: ⁣Rift Apart ⁤respectively. The ⁣latter will be, ⁣as⁤ mentioned ‍earlier, the first DirectStorage⁤ 1.2⁢ game with GPU-based decompression support.

This Game⁢ Ready driver⁤ is also optimized for ⁣the upcoming RTX ‍4060 Ti 16GB. NVIDIA has noted that ‍partners ‌such‍ as ASUS, Colorful, Gainward,‌ Galax, Gigabyte, ⁢INNO3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, ⁤and Zotac ⁣will start ‌selling⁢ the 16GB version of the⁢ RTX 4060 Ti ⁢starting‍ this‌ month.‍ Although the performance⁣ is ⁢very similar, NVIDIA ⁣stated‌ that ⁢in “a few” games, you should play at “High” ⁤settings on the RTX 4060⁣ Ti 8GB‍ and “Ultra”⁤ on ⁤the RTX 4060Ti 16GB.

As usual,‌ you can download the ⁤new ⁣GeForce ‍Game Ready‍ driver via ‌GeForce⁢ Experience⁢ or⁤ from the NVIDIA ⁢website.
