Modder Removes Duplicate Temple Puzzles, Benefiting Starfield Players

For those who haven’t played Starfield yet, there is a quest related to temples in the main storyline. In the first temple, there is‌ a unique ‍puzzle that takes a few minutes to solve, and at the end, a pleasant reward awaits you.

However, all 24 temple quests are exactly the same. The puzzle, if you can even call it that, never changes. ⁢The temple and its contents were ⁣simply copied to different planets, making them⁢ repetitive⁤ and time-consuming.

Fortunately, modder johndoebowler⁢ has created a mod called No⁣ More Temple “Puzzles” to put an end to this. Now, you ⁤can⁢ simply enter each temple, wait a few seconds, receive the reward, and ‌leave.

If you want to collect⁣ all the rewards in the temples, you would need to complete Starfield 10 times with a⁢ new game+. This means going through a total of 240 temples. Doing the same thing 240 times when it’s already boring the⁤ second time⁤ around?

This mod will be a ⁣great find for many players, although you still have to reach the temples, which ⁢is boring in itself. The process involves the character informing you of ⁢the temple’s location, flying to the⁢ moon or planet, landing, and then running about 800-1200 meters on the ⁢planet’s surface until you reach the temple. Sometimes, the entrance is right in front of you,‍ but usually, you have ⁢to search for it in rough terrain and against the temple walls ⁢- another annoyance. Once inside the temple, you solve the “puzzle” by using accelerators to fly in zero gravity through flashing lights. Then, you wait for the spinning mechanism to ⁢stop rotating, fly⁣ into it, exit the temple, and fight a character who is always waiting for‍ you at the exit.

At least now, part of the puzzle has been removed, and you don’t have ‍to run around the⁢ room trying not to fall ⁣asleep. After installing the mod, a mechanism appears on the screen that starts spinning, and you just wait a⁤ few seconds until ⁢it stops, and⁣ then ⁤enter it.
