The army-backed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) took 71 seats, while the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) secured 53. The PTI’s innovative use of social media “rallies” and artificial intelligence technology redefined election campaigning in Pakistan, as TV channels were prohibited from mentioning Khan’s name or showing video clips of him. Instead, the party held online “rallies” on platforms like YouTube and TikTok, contributing significantly to their success in the election.
