Team GO Rocket Leader Sierra presents a new challenge for Trainers in Pokémon GO in June 2023. Leader Sierra returns with a varied line-up that will test Trainers if they are unprepared.
Despite many changes across Pokémon GO, Team GO Rocket remains a thorn in Trainers’ side but also offers worthwhile rewards for those that overcome them. Once Trainers have beaten the three Team GO Rocket Leaders Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff, they can then face Team GO Rocket Boss Giovanni in Pokémon GO.
Sierra’s first Pokémon will always be Generation 2 Shadow Murkrow. Her second Pokémon can either be Steel- and Ground-type Steelix, Water- and Ground-type Swampert, or Normal- and Flying-type Staraptor, according to PokemonGoHub.
Sierra’s final Pokémon will again be one of three options at random, but they all have type crossovers, making them easier to combat. It will either be Dark- and Fire-type Houndoom, Fire- and Flying-type Charizard, or Dragon- and Flying-type Dragonite.

A great option is the powerhouse Rock- and Dark-type Tyranitar. The Generation 2 Pokémon is also super-effective against Houndoom, giving it an advantage over all of Sierra’s final options.
