Danish 3D environment artist Emil Rasmussen has published a fan-made video dedicated to the Imperial City – the capital of Cyrodiil from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Emil created this iconic city as his diploma project in less than a month, drawing inspiration from the game itself, as well as movies based on “The Lord of the Rings” and the trailer for TES VI by Bethesda.
According to the author, he was responsible for all aspects of production, using various 3D software to create the environment. As stated in Emil’s message on ArtStation, 3ds Max, Nuke, SpeedTree, World Creator, and V-Ray were used to create this scene.
By the way, regarding The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion itself, recently there has been information circulating online that Bethesda, in collaboration with Virtuos Games, is developing an updated version of Oblivion. It is expected that the release of the remake/remaster of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion may take place before 2025, in other words, before The Elder Scrolls 6 is released.
