Valve has just unveiled the latest sales rankings on Steam for the week of March 12 to 19. The full list, which also includes free games, can be found here. The rankings are based on total revenue rather than the number of copies sold.
Helldivers 2 continues to dominate the best-selling projects on Steam, maintaining its top position for several weeks. Despite being released on February 8, the game still attracts a large number of daily players, with an average of 200,000 online users.
Following closely in second place is the pre-order for Dragon’s Dogma 2, a highly anticipated role-playing game. However, Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition, another major release, did not make it to the list.
Last week, it seemed that Horizon Forbidden West would secure a spot in the top 10, but it only managed to reach the 48th position in the top 100 sales on Steam for the previous week. This is disappointing for the game’s creators, but it may be attributed to the ongoing major sale on Steam. On the other hand, the sale did not hinder the success of Capcom’s role-playing game. We will have to wait for the release on March 21 to see the player count.
