Guide to Dead Man’s Dredge Dungeon in Diablo 4

The Dead Man’s Dredge Dungeon in Diablo 4 is an excellent location to farm early on. This dungeon has a lot of mob enemies as opposed to a boss, but that can make it a good place to find a lot of loot. The recommended level for this dungeon is 25. It is located in Gale Valley in the Fractured Peaks region, which is east of Yelesna and Southeast of Kyovashad.

Dungeons in Diablo 4 are the main source of looting and collecting Legendary Aspects. While dungeons are not the only method to acquire them, they are the most reliable. Legendary Aspects are often geared toward one specific class, although they can also be categorized as general for any class to use. Completing Dead Man’s Dredge the first time will give players the Legendary Aspect of Piercing Cold, which is for the Sorcerer Class.

These enemies will drop purple blobs when killed. To pick them up, run through them, and it will fill up a bar under the quest log. It is possible to miss picking up the purple blobs that are dropped. If the quest bar is not full, and it appears most enemies are dead, retrace your steps and keep an eye out. It is likely on the ground near the site of a previous battle. Once the quest bar is filled, the players will see their next objective.

The second objective is to deposit the Animus into an Animus Urn. There will be a marker on the mini-map, which looks like a diamond with a triangle inside it. When the player approaches it, it will look like an oddly shaped pot with tentacles. Deposit the Animus by interacting with the urn.

The third objective is quite simple. While the name “Travel to the Slaughter” seems threatening, players simply have to traverse to the next part of the dungeon. There may or may not be any enemies as they travel. The game will inform players when they have reached the objective.
