Fan Remake of Fallout’s First Part Unveils Eerie Necropolis Screenshot

In honor of the 26th anniversary of the ⁣first ⁢part of⁢ Fallout, a team of fans working on transferring the original‍ game to the‍ Fallout 4 engine ⁤has‍ shown an⁢ image of Necropolis, a city once known as Bakersfield, which has become home to many ghouls.

The posted image⁢ shows⁣ a ‍person in T-51b power armor looking at the ruins of Necropolis from a ⁢destroyed high-rise⁢ building, in which only one television remains from the furniture. It is easy to ⁢guess that the screenshot references scenes from ‍the⁢ opening video of the⁤ original Fallout, which featured a⁤ similar apartment⁣ with ⁢a surviving television that showed the destroyed⁢ Bakersfield. This same‌ frame from the intro was ⁢used in‌ the⁣ game’s main menu with the addition of a person in power armor.

Currently, the team is preparing ‍to release ‍a demo version of the modification, in which a region called ‌Inyo will be available, including Vault 13, Vault 15, Shady Sands, and the raider ‍camp of the Khans, between which players will ‍be able to move continuously. ‌In⁣ addition to the well-known locations from the original game, we⁢ can expect several ‍new ⁣ones ‍that do⁣ not disrupt the atmosphere of the‌ original ⁤game.

The exact release date of the⁤ demo is unknown,⁢ but the fan team notes that information will be available in ⁣the coming months. In the meantime, before their project is released, you can experience ⁢Fallout: The Story, an abandoned but notable ‌mod that transfers‍ the beginning of the first part of Fallout to the Fallout: New Vegas engine, which you can download from our website.
