Exploring Nizhny Novgorod in the immersive action RPG “Smuta”

The Russian studio Cyberia Nova has been working on the development of a role-playing action game called “Smuta” for some time now and recently “came out of the shadows” and started communicating more actively with users. The project promises to immerse players in the Time of Troubles at the beginning of the 17th century and tell the story of a nobleman who manages to participate in the most important events of that period.

Today, the developers invited players to take a walk through the game location of Nizhny Novgorod.

What will the sightseeing route be like? First, we will fly down Kozhevennaya Street, which leads to Trading Square. Then we will move to Ivanovskaya Tower, and from there we will soar above the fair near the Ostrog on the embankment – it was a kind of entertainment center. Look, someone is even sitting in a cage there, write to us in the comments who you see there. Then we will move to the outskirts of Nizhny Novgorod, to the village of Vysokaya, and after that to the temporary camp of the Nizhny Novgorod Militia. After the camp, we will teleport to the burned and looted estate of the Stremoukhov family, and then visit the karst caves, which actually existed in that era, and some of them have survived to this day. In our case, it is a cave of bandits, flying through it, we will see their underground camp.

The project does not have a specific release date, but not long ago, the developers stated that the development of “Smuta” is halfway there.
