Famous for roles in films such as The King’s Speech, Sleepy Hollow, Paddington, as well as for the role of Professor Dumbledore, actor Michael Gambon has died at the age of 82.
The actor’s family announced the tragedy. The actor passed away after suffering from a bout of pneumonia.
British news agency PA reports.
“We are devastated to announce the loss of Sir Michael Gambon. Beloved husband and father, Michael peacefully passed away in the hospital with his wife Anna and son Fergus by his bedside, after suffering from pneumonia. Michael was 82 years old. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time and we thank you for your messages of support and love.”
