Before starting a run in the survival rogue-like Halls of Torment, you have a chance to bring along a Potion for passive buffs, but only if you find all the right ingredients to craft the elixir. With ways to increase the number of potions you can bring on a run, it’s always important to learn how to make these consumables. Thankfully, the location of each potion ingredient is much easier to find with a special item.
The Gatherer’s Charm points toward potion ingredients, acting like a compass that directs you toward items that spawn on a stage. Potion ingredients have a random chance to spawn on a map, so this charm helps make sure areas actually have an item before you risk life and limb to travel there. Similar to the Pest Ring in Halls of Torment, the Gatherer’s Charm is gifted by completing a mission to save the Cupbearer, who unlocks potion-use in all runs.

The amount of potions you can bring along in a run may be increased by choosing the bottle among the items dropped from a boss. The Wellkeeper will allow this upgrade if you bring the bottle back through the well and spend 2,000 Gold.
