Madden NFL 24 will be taking the field before long, with many different editions available for players to purchase. This will be the 43rd game in the Madden franchise, which first launched for the MS-DOS operating system back in 1988. In more recent years, Madden has become an annual release, with incremental improvements and adjustments made every year. The next installment will have a few updates and new features, including a new and improved FieldSENSE system that updates player AI, the SAPIEN character model skeleton that improves the realism of player movement, and over 500 new plays to try out on the fields.
As always, Madden NFL 24 will be available in multiple different editions, although this time, there’ll only be two. Rewards and pre-order bonuses for the different editions depend on multiple factors, such as the player’s history with Madden games and subscription status with EA Play. Without further ado, here are all the different editions and pre-order bonuses for Madden NFL 24.
At the time of writing, all editions of Madden NFL 24 are available for pre-order. The pre-order window closes on the game’s final release date: August 18, 2023. However, players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition receive three days of early access, and so can start playing Madden NFL 24 as early as August 15. Players subscribed to EA Play Early Access or EA Play Pro can also take advantage of the three-day early access window. Madden 24 will be released on both last-gen and current-gen consoles: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The Standard Edition of Madden NFL 24 is the most modestly-priced release of the game, coming in at $69.99 USD on release. However, players who are subscribed to EA Play at any tier will receive a 10% discount, bringing the price down to $62.99.
There are just a handful of pre-order bonuses that come with the Standard Edition of Madden 24, the first of which is the Josh Allen Elite Player Item. This is an in-game player card that allows players to recruit Madden 24 cover star Josh Allen to their Ultimate Teams. Players who pre-order the Standard Edition will also gain access to an additional player customization item: the NFL Marble Bills Gear. This is a white, marbled jersey similar to ones worn by the Buffalo Bills. They’re also entitled to their choice of two Strategy Items: one from the offense category, and one from defense. These items can be equipped by an Ultimate Team to boost the stats of the entire lineup.
