The latest figures indicate a significant slowdown in the growth of Game Pass. It took Microsoft three years to reach 10 million subscribers after its launch in 2017. However, in the following five months, the company added an additional five million subscribers, reaching 18 million by January 2021, representing a growth rate of nearly 90 percent per year. A year later, the number had increased to 25 million subscribers. Over the past two years, Game Pass has gained nine million subscribers, averaging an annual increase of just 18 percent.
